SAGWAN NG PILIPINAS SA 14TH IDBF WORLD DRAGON BOAT RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Handa na ang mga koponan ng Pilipinas na sasabak sa 14th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships na gaganapin sa Pattaya, Thailand sa Agosto 20-25, 2019. Dalawampu't-siyam (29) na bansa ang kalahok sa torneo na tinuturing na World Cup para sa dragon boat racing.

Sa taong 2011 ang pinakamatagumpay na kampanya ng PDBF teams sa nasabing torneo. Nakasungkit ang Pilipinas ng limang medalyang ginto sa torneo na ginanap sa Tampa, Florida sa kabila ng di pagbigay ng suporta ng POC at PSC. Patuloy na di kinikilala ng POC at PSC ang PDBF bilang National Sports Association (NSA) para sa dragon boat. Gayun pa man, buong tapang at husay na tatangkain ng 192 PDBF paddlers na makapag-uwi muli ng medalyang ginto para sa bansa sa gaganapin na World Cup.

Ilang personalidad ang nagbigay ng mensahe para sa magigiting na paddlers ng Pilipinas.
